A.

A is my boyfriend. It's a new relationship but I feel more strongly about him than I have anyone else I've ever dated. I don't mean that to be cruel to other people, it's just so different.

Our first date was the longest date I've ever gone on.

I picked him up around 530pm on February 28th, 2011. I met him at a school near his friend's house. I pulled into the driveway of the school and he put his bag in the backseat of my car and got in. He hugged me and I waited for him to do up his seatbelt. I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be. He told me he was "impressed" by me.

We drove around talking and we went to Walmart. We walked around there looking at things and talking. You can find out people's likes/dislikes and favourites while doing that. He gave me the biggest hug ever in the car accessories section. After we wandered around we went back out to my car. We drove around for a bit longer talking. He asked me if I was hungry and I sort of was so I asked if he was and he said yeah. So we looked for somewhere to eat. He said something about it being too bad there wasn't a vegetarian restaurant around. He wanted to go to South China buffet which was alright. He asked if there was vegetarian stuff there and I told him there was. I loved that he was concerned with that. It was very sweet and cute.

I pulled in the parking lot and turned off Norton (my car). He said something like hold on, and I said "why are you going to kiss me?" and he said "not now." I asked why not, and he rightly took that as an invitation.

I had to switch purses in the parking lot because my purple one was breaking. I told him to go inside and not stand in the wind but he refused. He held the restaurant door open for me. So sweet. We sat down and got drinks and then started getting food.

All night I was getting texts from TB, Tree, Maja, and I believe RR too. Maja at one point texted me saying "so he's not a serial killer?" lol. TB just wanted to know where we were, what I was wearing, what A wore, etc. Lol.

We talked all through dinner. All night there was never an awkward pause. There was no pauses at all. We just talked constantly. There was flirting too of course :)

After dinner we went to my house and watched Yes Man. He was polite to my parents, although I forgot to introduce him to Fluff... duh!! But he did nod/wave at him so it was all good. I didn't introduce him to MM and TH that day but he did see them and in reference to MM said "holy fuck, he's big!" which made me laugh.

After Yes Man, we drove around and ended up at a Tim Hotons he used to work at. We passed a couple places as we drove around like bowling and mini-putt and he asked if I like them and said we needed to do that sometime. :)

Eventually we went to his house and watched Ultraviolet, and one other movie but I forget the name. I met his dad (J), his stepmom (H), and his stepsister (M). They were all very nice to me which was a nice change. I was there until around 2am I think. He walked me to my car and sat in it while it warmed up and while he smoked. We talked more. He asked me to text him when I got home so he knew I was safe since it was so late. He's asked me to text him when I get home everytime I leave. So I went home and texted him for a bit and fell asleep a while later.

It was a casual date, but best date ever. Tree had bleached my hair out again earlier that day and then asked if I wanted it curled or straightened for my "hot date". Lol. Straight it was and turns out he likes my hair straight so it worked out.

He LOVES metal and I haven't listened to it as regularly as I used to but I do like it.
He loves horror movies like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. which I clearly LOVE.
He thinks vampires are hot, I agree.
His favourite food is spaghetti, which is one of mine and Boog's faves.
He hates drinking milk except chocolate milk just like me. :)
He smokes, I don't.
Neither of us are into the bar/club scene.
Our favourite colour is black.
He has no tattoos but wants a few different ones, I clearly have a few.
He isn't into piercings, but isn't opposed to the ones I have. Not so thrilled on the ones I want, lol (who is though really) but doesn't care if/when I get them.
His parents and my parents both split when we were really young.
We both have four siblings of all sorts.
He wants 3 kids. I want 0-5 of various beginnings (adopted, biological).

We both have a dog. His is at his mom's and is named Tinker. Her and V have similar mixes. Tinker has more.

We were both afraid of planes and hadn't been on them but now I'm love them and have been on one.

I don't understand how I can feel this strongly about A this quickly. He makes me strive to be the better side of me. He's the most incredible person I've ever met. He's so amazingly sweet. He treats me better than anyone ever has. He seems to adore me, which I'm starting to realize I've never felt before. I've never felt so special or wanted. A is so nice to me and it's so apparent that he cares so much about me. He compliments me all the time. He clearly is attracted to me which is so nice to finally feel so attractive to someone. He seems open to learning about my vegetarianism. He asks me about it which is nice. He understands Boog very well and he talks to him, not to me. He helped with a lift, even though he was nervous. Boog told me A would miss me when I went away. :)

And he definitely did. It was a hard week. Spending a week talking through text only so new in a relationship was tricky. Definitely a few bumps in the road but we managed okay. It scares me a bit that we're moving so quickly but everything just feels so right with him. We have quirky little things in common.We click so well. It's all just so effortless.
